• Elementary student surveys indicate that our students are having a positive experience. Their highest ratings indicate that in their experience:

Why do I need Child Abuse and Criminal Clearances?

For specific volunteer activities, volunteers at Penn View Christian School must produce a child abuse history clearance and criminal history background clearance. These clearances will be kept on file at the school.

What if I need to change afternoon transportation?

• Call the main office with the change and we will get a note to the student


What do I do if I want to send birthday invitations to students in my class?

• Ask the homeroom teacher for an address list and send them home through the mail
• Please do not send invitations to school UNLESS you have included ALL the students in the class


How do I get to the school?

• We are at 420 Godshall Road, Souderton, PA 18960.


What to do if my child is riding the bus home with another student?

• Both students must be in the same school district.
• A note, stating this transportation change, must come to school with each student.
• The notes must be approved by the elementary office or the middle school office.
• The notes are given to the bus driver as the students get on the bus in the afternoon.
• Pennridge School district does not allow students to ride other buses within their district.


When does my child have rehearsal for band or strings?

• Jazz Band meets on Wednesday mornings (7:30-8:15 a.m.)
• 7th Grade Handbell Ensemble meets Monday during 8th period (2:27-3:03 p.m.) and every other Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m.
• 8th Grade Handbell Ensemble meets Tuesday during rehearsal time (12:30-1:00 p.m.) and every other Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m.
• Middle School Band meets Monday during rehearsal time (12:30-1:00 p.m.) and Wednesday during 8th period (2:27-3:03 p.m.)
• Middle School Strings meets Monday during 8th period (2:27-3:03 p.m.) and Thursday during rehearsal time (12:30-1:00 p.m.)
• Middle School Select Strings meets Friday during 8th period (2:27-3:03 p.m.)


Inclement Weather Related Questions

If Inclement Weather Develops Overnight
1. What do I do if Penn View is closed?
    -Do not send your children to school.

2. What do I do if Penn View has a 2 hour delay, but my district opens at the normal time?
    -Send your children to school by bus at their normal time. School staff will be at Penn View prepared to meet incoming buses and supervise students until teachers arrive.
                OR
    -Bring your children to school between 10:00-10:25 a.m.

3. What do I do if Penn View is on time, but my district has a 2 hour delay?
o Bring your children to school before 8:25 a.m. 
OR 
Send your children on the bus according to your district’s 2 hour delay schedule. Students who arrive after school has begun will not be counted tardy.

4. Morning Kindergarten
o If Penn View opens on a 2 hour delay, morning kindergarten will be cancelled. Please do not send your child to school.

5. Preschool / Pre-kindergarten
o If Penn View is closed, preschool will be closed. If Penn View has a 2 hour delay, preschool will be cancelled. Please do not bring your child to school. However, pre-kindergarten will begin 2 hours late.

If Inclement Weather Develops During the Day 1. What do I do if Penn View closes early, but my district remains open? o Use radio, television or the web site for closing information on Penn View and your busing district. o When Penn View makes the decision to close early, all busing districts are contacted and bus services are requested. Buses will arrive at Penn View as soon as busing companies can provide them. Bus departure times will be posted on the Penn View website. Be prepared for your children to come home early. 2. What do I do if Penn View remains open, but my district closes? o Use radio, television or the web site for closing information on Penn View and your busing district. o Penn View will continue classes as normal. If a bus from a closed district arrives, students will be sent home on the bus, unless other arrangements have been made. Be prepared for your children to come home early. 3. Preschool / Pre-kindergarten o If it snows during school hours, parents are welcome to pick up children any time prior to dismissal. Safety is our first and foremost consideration.
