An event that is celebrating its 50th year in 2011, the Country Fair and Auction with Chicken Barbecue is Penn View's largest fundraising event. Penn View has enjoyed bringing both our school and local community together in this two day event, and has successfully brought in profits for school operational expenses in excess of $100,000 in recent years. Involving over 700 volunteers from our school families and friends is the key to creating involvement, teamwork and the success of this event. With activities such as a general merchandise and a quilt auction, chicken barbecue  dinner and drive-thru, country style, all you can eat, breakfast, kids game area, and our food tent with traditional favorites like funnel cake, delicious strawberry pies and homemade chicken corn soup, we generate thousands of visitors to this event each year. The auction is held the 3rd weekend in May and we are blessed to host this event at our school located at 420 Godshall Road, Souderton.
